We are so thrilled to have Lauren Gonzales on the podcast today (who also happens to be neighbors with Rosemary!), as hers is a bright story to come out of the pandemic. A graduate from ASU, Lauren was laid off from her design firm when Covid19 hit, and instead of panicking, she really looked at her life and realized that she enjoyed being able to spend more time with her family, not less, and decided to make some changes. She made the move to strike out on her own, creating her own interior design business and being based in Gilbert, AZ certainly didn’t hurt, as the housing market has simply exploded and the need for design, both commercial and residential is at a peak.
Grab your ruler, pencil, and tape measure and tune in to hear about the following:
1) How it’s okay to not “niche” down and can love multiple sides of your business.
2) How turning a loss into a gain is possible depending on your perspective.
3) How taking a leap into the unknown, but having faith in yourself, can return huge dividends.
